          makeblock's Ultimate 2.0 10-in-1 Robot Kit is great!

          The Ultimate 2.0 10-in-1 Robot kit is great. The parts are machined such that they are smooth and well manufactured. Threaded screw holes are nicely tapped and they always align with the other pieces to which they attach. There were no pieces missing. Instructions are precise and accurate. I bought the kit for my eleven old granddaughter and she has enjoyed building and using the robots. There is potential to learn about mechanics and programming.

          Good quality product, joyful experience

          Product is meticulously packed. All parts accounted for. The product components are nicely finished and fit well together.

          Instructions are clear enough, though parts of the assembly process requires concentration, but mostly enjoyable and inspiring. On balance a great product with attention to details. Excited to explore additional components and customizations.

          Great kit! I got this for my 8 year old daughter who loves logos, and wanted to take it to the next step. We built the first robot together, and she was so excited. It is great watching kids learn, and she was so happy when she was able pick things up and drive around with her new creation. I am already looking at expanding to new sensors to keep up with her imagination.

          It is good to see a company who still believes in creating a quality product.

          Well made, fun, and durable

          If you want to get started in DIY robotics/automation, this is a good choice. The manufacturer went to great lengths to make things easy to use for beginners. You can build the 10 robots, and, using the app, they are easy to control. Once you feel more comfortable with the HW, you can look at programming the controller directly.

          All-in-all, this is a quality kit, and I am glad I bought it.

          Best toy ever

          I believe this is the best money I've ever spent on a toy for my kids. It has tons of educational value when paired with scratch software or mblock apps, sky is the limit. We have added a pixie Cameron to our set up but allows for machine vision. This is out of the really cool Tech piece that relates directly to Mordern robotics. We had already purchased the basic Mbot and wanted more adding the ultimate kid gives you and endless opportunities to create some really cool robots. Some of the designs provided in the kid extremely fun easy to build and have a lots of online support to mod or add additional functionality . The mBlock system relies on real world mechanicals in the streamline the electrical interfaces with their solderless design. All the sensors and modules connect via RJ 24 and it allows for quick seamless in a Gratian of sensors motors in multiple devices. This kit comes with a good center package and two really good motors that lend itself well for a lot of different projects.

          It was great for my son's science fair project

          Bought this for my son’s science fair project and it was great. The directions included were clear and easy to follow. The packaging kept everything in great shape for shipping. The only disappointing thing is that there are only written instructions for three of the robot designs. The instructions for the other designs are all animated videos at the company web site and were not as easy for him to follow along. It would be great if the company made them available as a downloadable pdf.
