This company keeps making great products for teaching robotics to young children. I have used these many times with Summer Camp, afterschool clubs and teams. Kids love these robots!
Makeblock® mBot Neo STEM Education Coding Robot Kit For School Teaching
I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my nephew; he is enjoying it immensely, by all reports. Thank you so much for making an affordable, instructive and extensible kit.
N\M bot greatly enjoyed by our extraordinarily skilled 7 year old nephew. It was fun and relatively easy to put together and get started. Affords hours of interest.
I need to return my item and for over 1 week no one has e-mailed me a return address. Why is this happening?Nancy Debenham
It’s a Christmas present so I’ll know in a few more days whether my child loves it.
mBot Neo Remote Control WiFi Programmable Robotics Kit
We use these in camps and kids can’t get enough of them
We bought the mBot Neo for our 8 year old and it has exceeded our expectations! It wasn’t hard for my son and husband to put together and we can’t stop playing with it!
At least it's a lot of fun for this grandpa, who is also a software engineer, but too early for my 8 years old grandson. Still. he enjoys the robot after I write some program for it, or encourage him to make a few click to send instructions to the bot. We bought 2 mBots Neo, one with a camera kit. On that one we implemented the program to follow a green ball (keep it in the camera's center of vision). Then we attached the ball to another mBot Neo and made him wonder, and the one with camera follows it all by itself!
Waiting for more attachments and options to arrive, e.g. the manipulator arm. Will see if the kid catches interest and starts coding himself. If not, maybe his 5 years old sister will get the bug, when she grows up. For now she has some fun with mTiny bot and coding cards, but I have a lot of trouble ordering options for it, which are mentioned on the Chinese site, but not available in the US store, for example the pen attachments and the coding cards to draw shapes...
